Digital Technology Summer Internships

Short Description:
LITS hosts several 10-week, full-time paid summer internships that enable undergraduates develop their digital competencies while working with Bryn Mawr faculty and staff on projects that support the College’s educational programs and mission. Projects can include developing documentation and training materials for digital technologies, developing instructional or informational videos, helping with website design and production, and helping faculty develop digital course assignments. Specific intern activities vary based on need. In summer 2017 we offered internships in Digital Curriculum (3 students) and in AR/VR development (2 students). In summer 2018 offered internships in Digital Curriculum (2 students), Audiovisual production (2 students), and Information Security (2 students). Students also receive regular professional development opportunities, including workshops on Project Management, Design Thinking, and Articulating Digital Competencies in cover letters and interviews. Weekly, students check in on their work and reflect on their digital competencies, which we track over the course of the summer.
